As a Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our commercial strategy, leading direct sales activities, building long-term customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Your role as Sales Manager
In this role, you’ll take ownership of account management, business development, and product management to drive sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with clients, internal sales teams, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of our cutting-edge security solutions.
Your responsibilities range from negotiating contracts and setting up account strategies to market analysis and pricing policies. You’ll also play a key role in aftersales activities and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
You’ll report directly to the Deputy General Manager of InsTech Netherlands and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to expand market share and maximize revenue potential.
Key responsibilities
Account Management & Business Development
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and commercial partners.
- Lead direct sales activities, including negotiations on pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
- Develop and execute account strategies with clear targets and growth plans.
- Identify new market opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to drive business expansion.
- Plan and maintain a structured sales pipeline with sales targets, visit plans, and revenue projections.
- Manage aftersales processes and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with payment agreements and internal financial policies.
Market & Product Strategy
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends for business expansion.
- Identify new product opportunities and potential supplier partnerships.
- Define pricing policies and profitability strategies to maintain competitive positioning.
- Monitor legislation and environmental regulations to ensure compliance with ISO14001.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure that all security policies and procedures are followed, maintaining data confidentiality.
- Report security incidents and data breaches to the Security Officer.
- Use Microsoft Office 365 and other business tools to streamline workflows.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, aviation, business, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of B2B commercial experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic and results-driven approach.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and digital sales tools.
